ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent DIDO from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (35 minutes – bus available from Bunbury location only) and other nearby scenic communities.   
 
As the Cable Belt Technician, you will be responsible for the safely execute maintenance work as per SAP processes, maintenance schedules and work instructions. This role will be offered on a Permanent basis.
 
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 
•    Demonstrate commitment and conformance to safe work practices and procedures.
•    Ensure compliance to SAP process for work execution and capture related transactional data into the SAP system.
•    Execute work orders as per schedule and relevant work instructions as directed by the supervisor maintenance or superintendent maintenance.
•    Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.
•    Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process.
•    Validate quality of work performed by third parties and the related service entry sheets.

ABOUT YOU 
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:  
•    Previous exposure in steel cable conveyor maintenance with a minimum experience of 3 months with a good understanding of maintenance processes, tools and equipment

Qualifications for this position are:
•    Accredited Working at Height Training
•    Accredited Working in Confined Space Training
•    HR Class Driver’s License
•    High Risk Work Licence for Forklift
•    High Risk Work Licence for Dogman or Rigging
