We are looking for a Senior Specialist Applications Security play an integral role in our Identity and Access Management (IAAM) team, championing best practice and influencing stakeholders across the organisation to facilitate key initiatives for current and future projects.

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned specialist with enterprise SAP and application security experience to contribute to current IAAM initiatives while also aiding the organisation in preparing for our transition to Workday.

Reporting to the Principal Advisor Digital Identity and working in a collaborative community, within our Identity and Access Management division, you will be:

  • Providing subject matter expertise developing and enhancing SAP security roles and authorizations for various SAP systems in accordance with business requirements
  • Performing high level support including problem determination for all SAP security needs within development, QA, and production SAP
  • Leading and designing SAP security solutions for finance as part of S/4 HANA implementations
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to gather business requirements for enhancements/change requests
  • Providing guidance to AMS (Application Management Services) teams around operational and user administration for SAP production security incidents and enhancements, including role design, authorization errors, and user maintenance requests
  • Communicating with IT and business users globally to facilitate questions, resolve issues and request feedback on access issues
  • Participate in solution design workshops and champion best practice using a consultative approach throughout the business

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • A depth of experience with SAP and application security (8+ years)
  • Extensive and proven experience of SAP security developments in the context of a SAP HCM module and good knowledge in other functional modules like Finance, Purchase To Pay, and Asset Management
  • Experience with security tools such as SAP VIRSA and Identity solutions like SailPoint IDN and SailPoint ARM
  • Worked and managed large/complex projects for the SAP Security solution design/ restructuring projects for SAP S/4HANA environments
  • Excellent understanding of SAP application security implementation methodologies and role-based access controls
  • SAP certifications in Access Control and Authorisation Concepts desirable
