Are you passionate about asset reliability and preventative maintenance? We’re looking for a  Condition Monitoring Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the performance and longevity of our fixed plant equipment.

About the Role

As a Condition Monitoring Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for a team of 8 technicians monitoring the health of our assets through data collection, sampling, and testing. Your insights will directly support our preventative maintenance programs and help drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of NDT and VA technicians to support plant operations and maintenance teams
  • Apply monitoring, sampling, and testing techniques including, but not limited to, rotating and vibrating equipment, to gather asset health data
  • Identify and escalate potential asset defects based on established parameters
  • Prepare condition and performance reports to support maintenance decisions
  • Contribute to the reliability and sustainability of our assets
  • Conduct quality and safety inspections that align with Rio Tinto best practices
  • Support and coach less experienced team members when needed

What You'll Bring

  • Supervision and leadership experience in a plant or processing environment
  • Technical qualifications and hands-on experience in condition monitoring (NDT or VA)
  • A mature leadership approach to support and develop your people and enable their success
  • Sound risk management skills and ability to make decisions based on risk
  • Sounds computer literacy skills. Working knowledge of SAP is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following standard procedures
  • Experience using Emmerson Machinery Health is desirable
  • Refinery experience is also desirable
