About the role
We are looking for a Senior Advisor Engineering Management, who thrives on collaborating in teams and engaging with various stakeholders. Reporting to the Principal Project Practices, to be successfully considered for this role you will also:
Maintain and evolve the Engineering Consultant engagement strategy in collaboration with the Programs & Studies teams and project engineering disciplines.
Build true partnerships with selected Engineering Partners
Oversee and assess the performance of Engineering Service Providers (ESPs), ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and key performance indicators.
Serve as the primary interface between the business and ESPs, facilitating clear communication and continuous performance feedback.
Lead contractual negotiations and ensure ESPs consistently meet deliverables, timelines, and quality expectations.
Drive engineering governance and quality assurance across capital projects by owning and implementing key engineering processes and documentation.
Champion adherence to standardised engineering processes, systems, and tools. Act as custodian of all engineering-related processes and documentation within the Project Management Framework.
What you’ll bring
Proficiency in engineering practices, including the preparation and review of engineering specifications, scopes, and drawings.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to foster collaborative relationships in a brand new partnership model.
Strong understanding of engineering management principles, including cost, quality, schedule, site delivery, and safety management. Includes intimate knowledge of engineering deliverables and tasks throughout project lifecycle.
Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations, in particular Safety in Design.
Ability to provide technical support and direction to stakeholders
Ability to understand and support in negotiation of contractual agreements related to Engineering.
Previous experience in an Engineering Consultancy will be viewed positively

Where you’ll be working
This role will be offered on a 5 days on, 2 days off working roster, based in Perth, at our Central Park offices nestled within the city’s CBD.
In the Pilbara region of Western Australia, we own a world-class, integrated network of 17 mines, four independent port terminals, a rail network spanning nearly 2,000 kilometres and related infrastructure – all designed to respond rapidly to changes in demand. We are one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of iron ore.
