About the role
Reporting to the MP&E Principal Spares & Disposals, you will work closely with supply vendors, transport and logistics operators, Site Ops, warehouse teams and external vendors to manage supply chain logistics of conveyor belt throughout the asset lifecycle
Key Responsibilities:
Executing supply chain logistics of conveyor belts and splice kits, including procurement, transport, storage and disposal, to ensure stock availability across all RTIO operations
Utilising and updating “Belt Management Program (BMP)” to manage centralised supply chain management
Execute “Out of cycle” requests to facilitate belt change-outs and minimise downtime
Liaise with Commercial team and belt suppliers to ensure DIFOT targets are met
Manage BOM (belt and splice kit) for all conveyors
Collaborating with Business Units and Sites to share learnings / support replication opportunities
Coaching, mentoring and training for better awareness of belt management process within Sites and other team members
Coordinate new belt in / used belt out model maximising use of existing belt delivery resources and backloads
Coordinate logistics to reduce legacy stockpiles of used belt in yards on site using any underutilised resources or backloads available
Adhoc site visits to audit stock levels, disposal yards and maintain relationships
What you’ll bring
Strong stakeholder engagement and highly effective communication skills
Ability to create and maintain a strong network and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
Experience in supply chain & work management or ability to quickly learn processes & relevant SAP transactions
Experience or interest in sustainable disposal & recycling methods

Where you’ll be working
This role is primarily based between the Operations Centre at Perth Airport and Central Park in the Perth CBD with occasional Adhoc travel to site operations as required.
The role will be based in Perth at both the Operations Centre. Our state-of-the-art Operations Centre (OC) located near the Perth domestic airport, operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail, power and ports. It enables all our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location, optimising site activities from 1,500km away.
