About the role
We are looking for an Advisor to provide technical support to a variety of mineral processing studies.

Reporting to teams Senior Advisor, you will:
Plan and schedule laboratory and pilot plant work - e.g. hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy or flotation test programs
Lead the work of technical officers and technicians
Lead small scale projects (responsible for quality, HSE, schedule and budget)
Design experimental plans and test methods
Interpret results and link results to technical theory and project goals
Apply technical problem solving skills
Have an uncompromising focus on data quality and attention to detail
Prepare reports/memorandums detailing findings and recommendations
Present results and recommendations to project stakeholders.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
A tertiary qualification in Metallurgical Engineering or Minerals Processing Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
Several years’ experience in one or more of the following areas:
Solution chemistry/hydrometallurgy
Pyrometallurgy
Flotation
Strong data analysis skills
Commitment to promoting a positive safety and collaborative workplace culture
Ability to communicate in a clear and precise manner with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a diverse team.
It will also be beneficial if you have experience in some of the following:
HSE leadership experience
Good understanding of sampling theory and experimental statistical analysis/design.
Process flowsheet modelling with either SysCAD and/or Metsim
