Aerodrome Ground Handler
Work location: Across Pilbara
Roster: 4 days on / 3 days off FIFO ex Perth.
This diverse role of an Aerodrome Ground Handler will have the successful candidate reporting directly to the Aerodrome Supervisor. The role requires a reliable candidate to fill a permanent position as a member of the ground handling team. They will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Carry out daily aircraft ground handling operations in line with airline standards and practices;
This including but not limited to ramp and check-in functions.
- Display high levels of customer service when dealing with travelling passengers for all daily scheduled aircraft movements;
- Conduct aerodrome maintenance tasks including but not limited to;
Cleaning, weeding, repairs, painting general maintenance (within skill set).
- Any other task deemed suitable to skill set and role as assigned by Aerodrome Supervisor
The roster for this position will be Mon-Thu inclusive (4/3) OR Thu- Thu inclusive (8/6).
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative, be self-directed and work under minimal supervision
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with our residents, contractor groups and management team
- Ensure timely delivery of regulatory compliance, risk and sustainability targets and KPIs’
- Demonstrated safety leadership and interpersonal skills, including both written and verbal communication skills. Having the demonstrated ability to liaise and interact with individuals and groups of varying levels of authority
- High level of organisation skills and an ability to meet deadlines whilst managing multiple functions simultaneously;
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and high level of commitment to the provision of quality services and contributing to a positive team environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possess relevant qualifications and current experience in aircraft ground handling of F100, B712; A320 and B738 aircrafts.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with all MS Office, SAP, On line inductions and Workflow suite of programs;
