Agile Project Manager

Work Location:

Fortescue’s East Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.

Roster:

Monday to Friday 

The Agile Project Manager plays a crucial role in an agile product development environment by overseeing the successful execution of projects and ensuring adherence to agile methodologies. They facilitate collaboration and coordinate activities, to deliver high-quality products within set timelines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work closely with the product development team to identify project scope, requirements, and deliverables, and ensure that they are aligned with the overall project goals and objectives
• Build and manage technical product development schedule.
• Liaise with PO and timelines and identify critical paths and / or efficiency opportunities between multiple workstreams
• Manage interaction between 3rd party and development partners. Manage integration activities to build efficiencies between multiple scopes
• Use Agile and other project management tools such as Jira and P6 to manage project tasks, track and report progress at appropriate level of granularity
• Work closely with Program management team to ensure that technical development schedules are aligned with overall schedules

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency in JIRA
• Strong understanding of agile principles, frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and project management methodologies
• Excellent project planning, execution, and tracking skills
• Proficiency in using agile project management tools and software
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
