Agile Project Manager
Work Location:
Fortescue’s East Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.

The Agile Project Manager plays a crucial role in an agile product development environment by overseeing the successful execution of projects and ensuring adherence to agile methodologies. They facilitate collaboration and coordinate activities, to deliver high-quality products within set timelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the product development team to identify project scope, requirements, and deliverables, and ensure that they are aligned with the overall project goals and objectives
- Build and manage technical product development schedule.
- Liaise with PO and timelines and identify critical paths and / or efficiency opportunities between multiple workstreams
- Manage interaction between 3rd party and development partners. Manage integration activities to build efficiencies between multiple scopes
- Use Agile and other project management tools such as Jira and P6 to manage project tasks, track and report progress at appropriate level of granularity
- Work closely with Program management team to ensure that technical development schedules are aligned with overall schedules
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proficiency in JIRA
- Strong understanding of agile principles, frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), and project management methodologies
- Excellent project planning, execution, and tracking skills
- Proficiency in using agile project management tools and software
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
