We’re looking for someone who knows their way around contracts, understands the numbers, and isn’t afraid to take ownership.
If you’re someone who likes to roll up your sleeves, ask the right questions, and make sure things are done properly – this could be a great next move.
This role is all about being in the driver’s seat when it comes to contracts and commercial processes. You’ll work across different teams – legal, rental, ops, and finance – and make sure contracts are not only compliant but make commercial sense.
You'll also have the chance to support tenders, manage variations, track project performance, and keep the invoicing and reporting on track.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts for a variety of projects and clients
- Acting as the go-between for rental, legal and operations to get new contracts over the line
- Managing contract variations and overseeing rise and fall calculations
- Pulling together monthly reports in line with contract deliverables
- Leading the off-hire and back charge process
- Supporting cross-hire agreements
- Helping GMs and BDMs price projects, draft proposals and submit tenders
- Working with the Legal team to review scopes and draft commercially sound contracts
- Keeping an eye on key contract risks and making smart calls on what to accept
- Reporting on how projects are tracking against contract terms and budgets
- Supporting timely, accurate invoicing – and chasing up where needed
- Supporting the end-of-month processes
Who we're looking for:
- Someone who takes initiative and likes to get things sorted
- You’ve got experience with contracts and commercial processes, ideally in project-based industries like construction, mining, or equipment hire
- Comfortable working across different teams and dealing with clients
- Able to manage multiple moving parts without missing the details
- Confident interpreting contract terms and financial performance
