About Macmahon Maintenance Masters
Macmahon Maintenance Masters (MMM) provides labour support to Macmahon’s surface and underground mining operations. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to someone who is technically experienced, confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a new challenge every day! 

MMM is seeking experienced underground Drill Fitters to join the team. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment used in underground mining operations. This role involves and not limited to conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, maintaining an inventory of spare parts, and adhering to safety policies and practices.

Project Location: The underground project is located 330 kilometres northeast of Kalgoorlie and utilises the Tropicana Gold Mine camp. 

About the role
•    Option of 8:6 OR 2:2 rosters - FIFO from Perth
•    Rates up to $93 per hour 
•    Casual OR Casual to Permanent Full-time employment available to suit you

About you
•    Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment - specifically has worked a variety of Sandvik Drill Rigs
•    Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology)
•    Dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance
•    Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting / interpretive skills
•    Previous experience in the mining industry or large scale operations 
•    Physically fit for the demands of the role
•    Proven ability to operate in a safe and efficient manner
•    Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team
•    Great interpersonal and communication skills
•    Current C Class MANUAL Drivers Licence - Mandatory
