About the role
We are looking for a Business & Technology Support Finance Business Partner to support Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) and their leadership teams. The role requires strong analytical support and a sophisticated ability to influence and drive change. The breadth and level of the critical relationships requires deep experience and capability.
This role is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional with the passion and desire to drive the financial planning and support the performance of a large business, with proven engagement and influence skills and highly demonstrated ability to run financial analysis and planning processes and to identify opportunities and deliver results.
In this role, you will:
Be a part of a high performing finance team, partnering to drive business performance, providing decision and execution support to leaders across the portfolio.

Partner with stakeholders to proactively drive financial analysis and cost discipline and influence outcomes through providing a decision framework supported by insightful and accurate analysis
Build rapport with a variety of senior stakeholders in STP, S&D and Functions with a strong focus on the IS&T portfolio and across Finance including Controllership, Treasury, Tax and Risk
Lead the development of rigorous planning and drive improved business performance through highly effective forward plans
Provide senior management with relevant, detailed, accurate and timely financial analysis, studies and counsel to influence and shape financial strategy, analysis and market insight
Understand performance to identify improvement opportunities, and support the business in developing high value initiatives to optimize business outcomes
Drive process optimization both across the FBP team, fostering a continuous improvement mindset, leveraging available technologies
Identify areas for growth & development for the team and support development of training/opportunities to close these gaps
Ensure governance and compliance through effective application of financial controls and risk management
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
Bachelor and/or professional qualification MBA, ACA, CPA
8 years + finance experience within a complex global organisation
A team player with excellent communication, influence and engagement skills at all levels
Analytical and forward thinking competencies
Ability to solve complex problems where precedence may not exist
Genuine curiosity for understanding detailed business performance, and using that understanding to develop insights and improvement initiatives. Continuous improvement, value creation with evidence of identifying and mitigating risks
Strong background of influencing and working with diverse teams in matrix model
Expertise across a full range of standard business, finance and presentation toolkits (SAP, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, etc.) and an aptitude for identifying technology based solutions to enable increased efficiency and performance improvement
Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance

Experience working within support environments and understanding the processes, risks and challenges of support groups
