About the role

We are excited to offer multiple development opportunities for local residents of Paraburdoo to join the Rio Tinto Mine Operations team, Hot Seating Project. Whether you are eager to learn how to operate haul trucks or have existing skills in the mining or a similar industry, and live locally in Paraburdoo, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will play a vital role in the success of our operations, contributing significantly to the production supply chain. You will be part of a diverse and inclusive team, with the support of your Supervisor to help you achieve both your personal and team goals.

You will work seven-hour shifts, with a day shift from 09:00 to 16:00 and a night shift from 21:00 to 04:00, following our production roster: 4 days, 4 nights, 6 days off, followed by 4 days, 3 nights, and 7 days off. This schedule allows you more time to focus on what matters most to you and spend time with those who are important in your life.

Experience operating haul trucks is not essential – we will provide all the training and support required.
