Heavy Diesel Fitter

Emeco is expanding at Rolleston, located approximately 3½ hours from Rockhampton, and we’re looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join us as we establish a new site and team.

This is more than just another fitting role. You’ll be joining a tight-knit crew where your experience, diagnostic ability and judgement are valued, with the opportunity to help shape the culture from the ground up.

If you're a tradesperson who takes ownership, doesn't cut corners and knows how to keep heavy mining equipment performing, we want to hear from you.

• Working on fleet of CAT 777F Trucks, D10 Dozers, EX1200 Diggers, 16M Graders and 777 Watercart 
• Diagnosing faults and completing planned, breakdown and preventative maintenance.
• Carrying out high-quality repairs while identifying potential issues before failure.
• Working autonomously while supporting the team and maintaining strong safety standards.
• Taking ownership of your work and accurately completing maintenance records.

• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification and relevant mining experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across large-scale mining equipment.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions and take ownership of your work.
• Safety-first mindset with a strong focus on quality workmanship and teamwork.
• Australian Driver’s Licence and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police Check.
