We are looking for trade qualified Industrial Electricians to join our Asset Management team at Bell Bay Aluminium - Tasmania.
Our Team is flexible and dynamic, primarily completing breakdown response maintenance works on our fixed plant assets, site wide.
Working a continuous Shift Roster, this will give you the opportunity to balance your work and other commitments to spend time on the things that are important to you.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be joining our Breakdown Maintenance team. Your role may involve;
- Maintaining, restoring and/or replacing fixed plant equipment within an Aluminium Smelter Environment.
- Planned maintenance including PLC, Instrumentation, motor drives and other plant equipment, including Autonomous Forklift equipment.
- Execution of planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance.
- Prioritising and self-managing breakdown repairs
- Troubleshooting, calibrating, repair and service of fixed plant electrical assets.
What you’ll bring
Previous experience working within an industrial environment is highly regarded. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset
- Valid C Class drivers licence
- An Australian 'A' grade Electrical licence
- Instrumentation Certificate advantageous
- Working at Heights/EWP desirable
- Experienced in planned maintenance including PLC, Instrumentation and other plant equipment
- Proven history of fault finding and repairs on various electrical equipment
- Proven maintenance experience working in heavy/industrial industry
