About the role
We are looking for a Joint Venture Manager to develop and maintain trusted and strategic relationships with JV partners, supporting the business to meet JV obligations and deliver value for all parties.
Reporting to the GM Joint Ventures and working in a diverse team within the Finance stream, you will:
- Develop and maintain trusted and strategic relationships with JV participants.
- Key point of contact with external JV Participants on all aspects of the JV relationship including planning, reporting, reserve development and agreement governance processes.
- Working closely with the JV Governance and Compliance team to ensure internal stakeholders are engaged to support inclusion of JV context and obligations within business processes.
- Develops, maintains and delivers against the JV strategy, including dedicated JV risk registers.
- Undertakes appropriate QA/QC review of JV specific information prior to release.
- Ensures timely execution of information request and actions from JV partners.
- Coordinates major capital / studies approval process, including significant sustaining capital approvals.
- Project manage approval and implementation of business changes / new requirements impacting existing JV arrangements.
- Provides advice, guidance and support to Iron Ore & other RT teams in relation to JV.
- Maintains and continuously improves the internal JV MOS to support ensure good working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders and works across multiple functions and disciplines (JV MOS).
- Represents JV interests at internal forums and discussions as needed.
- Works with other JV Managers to continuously improve JV management within RTIO (JV Playbook).

- Demonstrated experience in Finance or related area

Where you’ll be workingIn the Pilbara region of Western Australia, we own an integrated portfolio of iron ore assets: a world-class, integrated network of 16 mines, four independent port terminals, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure – all designed to respond rapidly to changes in demand. We are one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of iron ore.
This role will be Perth based in our Central Park head office.
