About the Role
In this role, you will lead a team focussed on the management and support of operational technology and systems. (Eg- Site ops, Technology Remote Operations Centre (TROC)) You will coach and develop team teams to deliver high performance.
This position will work on our Lifestyle Roster, working a pattern of days and nights, with a block of days off at the end of each swing. On this roster, you enjoy two full weekends off out of four and will align to the following shift rotation: 2D2N5X, 2D3N4X, 3D2N5X. Shifts are 12.5 hours including handover, and you will benefit from additional shift allowances, as part of your remuneration package. As an added benefit, those on a Lifestyle Roster will also enjoy an additional week of annual leave per year.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Response team schedule/ roster to ensure continued coverage across all Response team Service Lines.
- Develop rhythms and routines and is responsible for leading, training and ensuring consistent competency and operation of the Response team.
- Ensure the effective management, running and maintenance of the technology environment to support business operations including:
- Fleet Management Systems
- Autonomous Haulage Systems
- Industrial Comms (DRS/WTS)
- Hosting
- Networks
- Applications
- Rail
- Identify, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive the team’s operational performance, accountability and transparency while ensuring focus on safety, people, production, and costs.
- Provide input into the resolution (both reactive and proactive) of problems and assists with identifying root causes and implementation of remedies to prevent future incidents.
- Identify area for improvement in collaboration with other Technology teams
- Know our customer and is focused on meeting their needs.
About You
- Background in Operations Technology in large-scale environments, preferably mining.
- Outstanding Leadership skills and have good working knowledge of mining operational technology, process control, digital radio, fleet management and network infrastructure
- Proven experience managing high performing teams in an operational environment.
- Outstanding Stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Proven Safety leadership skills
