Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Plant Mechanic

Emeco are now accepting applications for a Leading Hand - Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team located at Devon mine site. Located in the Goldfields of Western Australia.

Have you been working as a leading hand for the last few years and now you’re ready for your next venture? Are you a Heavy Diesel Mechanic who has had exposure to leading hand duties that is ready for a step up? This could be the opportunity you are looking for.

The Perks:

• Full Time option – Up to $77 + Super (Up to $225k + 12% Super per year)
• Experience - If you are high level pay will reflect further
• Shifts – 12 hour days
• Travel – Campsite - Red October
• Roster – 2 and 1 roster
• FIFO – Perth to Leinster then on to site
• Relocation – This can be discussed on a case by case basis

• 8x 777 Dump Trucks
• 1x D10T Dozer
• 1x 988 Wheel Loader
• 1x 9150 Excavator
• 1x EX1200 Excavator
• 1x 14 Grader 
• 1x 740 Water Cart
• 1x 6x4 Service Truck

Opportunity for our equipment rental contracts to keep expanding

What we’ll need from you:

• Australian recognised trade certificate
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
• Extensive Mine site exposure and experience completing break down works, troubleshooting and diagnostics, general servicing, and component change outs across a variety of OEM equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr and Hitachi Equipment).
• Current Australian driver’s license (mandatory)
• National Police Clearance or able to obtain one
