Light Mobile Equipment Maintainer
About the role
Fantastic opportunity to join our Mobile Equipment Maintenance Team at Pannawonica, Mesa A. This is a permanent position working 8 days on, 6 days off roster, FIFO from Perth.
Reporting to the LME Maintenance Supervisor, you will be required to:
- Complete corrective and breakdown maintenance to a variety of heavy and light mobile vehicles and equipment within the LME Fleet.
- Conduct scheduled workshop servicing and occasional field service breakdowns
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all RTIO Company Policies and procedures
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects – increasing safety whilst reducing risk & cost
- Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned, and completed to the relevant standard / specification
What you will bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A Light Vehicle, Heavy-Duty or Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification
- Excellent diagnostic fault-finding abilities
- Experienced maintaining a large variety of heavy and medium Volvo, Scania and/or Isuzu trucks, light vehicles and ancillary vehicles
- A Manual C Class Australian Drivers Licence or higher is essential
- A good understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar highly regarded
- Ability to work cooperatively in small team, demonstrating flexibility to business requirements
