Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our Maintenance Team at King of the Hills on a 2/1 roster, flying in and out of Perth. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Light Vehicle Fitter is responsible for daily service and repairs to the site light vehicle fleet, ensuring safety and reliability in accordance with manufacturer specifications.


About the role

  • Servicing light vehicles according to the planned schedule;
  • Diagnosing faults and breakdowns of light vehicles;
  • Ordering materials and spare parts required for repairs;
  • Maintaining vehicle service and history documentation;
  • Cleaning and maintaining workplace, tools, and equipment;
  • Ensuring all documents are submitted accurately and on time;
  • Ability and willingness to undertake other tasks when required.

About you

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a mine site environment;
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate;
  • Demonstrated experience with on-site repairs to Light Vehicles;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values;
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence.
