We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster. This is an opportunity to work alongside a high-performing maintenance team where your expertise will keep our heavy mobile fleet operating safely, efficiently and at peak performance.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Site Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for developing and coordinating maintenance plans that maximise equipment availability while supporting our asset management strategy. You'll ensure preventative maintenance, statutory compliance, condition monitoring and defect management are planned, resourced and executed with minimal disruption to operations.

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work closely with site leadership, trades and our Central Asset Management team to deliver maintenance outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain a rolling current week +2 maintenance plan.
  • Plan preventative maintenance, statutory inspections and defect repairs to maximise fleet reliability.
  • Prioritise and manage the maintenance backlog to ensure work is completed within agreed targets.
  • Coordinate labour, parts, tooling and external service providers to ensure work is execution-ready.
  • Schedule execution of Condition Monitoring workorders raised in AMT (CMMS) by the Central Asset team and provide feedback as required on completion.
  • Balance maintenance workloads against available labour and operational requirements.
  • Lead weekly and daily maintenance planning meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Support breakdown events by coordinating components, resources and repair strategies to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure work orders are accurately completed and closed in the CMMS.
  • Identify early failures and warranty opportunities while working closely with the Central Asset Management team.
  • Drive continuous improvement across maintenance planning processes.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience planning maintenance for Heavy Mobile Equipment in the mining industry.
  • A mechanical trade qualification (highly regarded).
  • Experience working withCAT, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment.
  • Strong experience using CMMS systems (AMT or similar).
  • Excellent scheduling, planning and workload management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering to deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with supervisors, managers, tradespeople, OEMs and customers.
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence.
