This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing mobile plant maintenance operations on our major mining projects - ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and a strong safety culture across site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordinate overall site maintenance activities to ensure the equipment is always maintained to the highest possible standard.
  • Carry out regular inspections of all mobile equipment on site to ensure repair and machine standards of condition and presentation are maintained.
  • Take responsibility for maximising the performance of the maintenance team, provide leadership and technical support and ensure that your team takes responsibility for their tasks.
  • Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and encourage safe work practices.
  • Be actively involved in all accident/incident investigations in conjunction with regional HSE Superintendent.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance, including strong leadership or supervisory role exposure  
  • Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to identify risks and drive proactive safety outcomes.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience developing and implementing operational standards, maintenance processes and continuous improvement initiatives while having a solid understanding of mining operations, equipment performance and maintenance best practice.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical information and make informed decisions.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance operational performance and customer expectations.
  • Adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, changing operational environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, mentor and collaborate across all levels.

 The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and provide a current National Police Check.
