We are looking for a Manager Fixed Plant to join the Brockman 4 leadership team and lead our plant operations teams to success.
As an experienced production / asset management / processing and/or maintenance leader, this is a great opportunity to lead large multi-disciplined plant operations and maintenance teams. We invite you to be part of our ongoing journey to take efficiency and safety to the next level.
Reporting to the General Manager Brockman 4 Region and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will be providing authentic leadership and genuine care for your team whilst demonstrating the Rio Tinto values of care, courage, and curiosity.

Your ability to focus on performance will be integral, you will be:
- Accountable for delivery of ore product that meets the product quality specification through consistent and reliable plant performance
- Deploying and developing plant operational and maintenance teams and individuals
- Developing a performance culture according to our values of care, courage and curiosity which drives exemplary safety behaviours and stable operating outcomes
- Ensuring core plant operations and asset management processes and practices are being applied
- Managing the fixed plant shutdown cycle and delivery of shutdowns safely and on schedule
- Assessing and managing risks over asset lifecycle, reviewing and auditing compliance
You’ll build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across our operational teams and functional support teams while externally, you'll work with our original equipment manufacturers.

- Courage to challenge operating conditions and your focus on production and performance will be required to succeed in this role, as a Manager Fixed Plant it is expected that you safely and economically deliver production plans
- Your production / process plant operations / asset management and/or maintenance optimization experience is necessary

Located 60km north-west of Tom Price, Brockman is wholly owned and operated by Rio Tinto. Opened in 2010, this open pit operation offers a family friendly fly in fly out roster with state-of-the-art camp facilities.
