About the Role

This role will be based at Kwinana on a full time or part time capacity, Monday-Friday (with work from home flexibility).

Reporting to the Manager Engineering – Kwinana, you will be responsible for managing the Capital Project portfolio from a systems perspective

You will focus on effective creation and prioritisation of the Project Portfolio, while working closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure the best outcome for the business.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the capital portfolio from a systems perspective, throughout the project lifecycle
  • Co-ordinating quarterly capital reprioritisations, 5 year capital planning and life of asset strategic inputs
  • Facilitating and governing the team in following the BHP Small Project Management Framework from a systems perspective
  • Working closely with Finance and NiW Central portfolio team
  • Building mutually beneficial cross functional relationships to support delivery of the portfolio and site business plan
  • Identification and delivery of improvement opportunities in terms of Safety, Culture and Productivity, and Systems
  • Leading a culture of care through visible safety leadership and an uncompromising commitment to health, safety and the environment

About You

  • Capital Portfolio management experience (desirable)
  • Understanding of the capital investment processes
  • Sound financial acumen and knowledge
  • Planview programme experience (not essential)
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, these will be key components of this role as you will work with closely with a variety of stakeholders
  • A proven track record of safety management
