About the Role
Daunia Mine have an exciting opportunity for experience Pump Crew Operators to join the Mine Services team. This role is a permanent, full time FIFO/DIDO position on a 7 on/ 7 off rotating roster.
Demonstrating a strong focus on safety, your primary duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Mine site dewatering
- Undertaking basic maintenance & repair of equipment
- Ensuring delivery schedules are met in a timely manner
- Performing basic troubleshooting of pump breakdowns
- Inspections and assessments of fleet for damage, ensuring the assessment includes scope of repairs and parts
- Accurate recording of servicing information and other documentation relevant to the role
- Connection and testing of pumping equipment
- Undertake installs and basic repairs of pumping equipment in the field
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate into new teams and focus on teamwork
- Demonstrated commitment to ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace including willingness to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with site procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pump Fitter & Poly Welding experience.
- Experience in operating civil machinery would be advantageous; Excavator, Grader, Watercart, Loader.
- Strong focus for safety
- Be results driven, solutions focused and highly organized.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Current Drivers License
