About the role
We are looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Finance Business Partnering (FBP) team within Iron Ore. In this role, you will support operational excellence by improving team coordination and communication, building capability in structured problem solving and project delivery, and enabling the execution of divisional improvement priorities.
Reporting to the Manager Analytics and Insights – FBP, you will:
Own the delivery and continuous improvement of the FBP Management Operating System (MOS) and communication strategy, ensuring internal rhythms, routines and forums are well planned and effective
Support the planning and delivery of the divisional improvement plan, partnering with the FBP leadership team to drive alignment and execution
Coordinate and track initiatives improving our financial performance in collaboration with the FBP team, ensuring effective prioritisation and alignment with broader business priorities
Build capability in the FBP team by coaching others in practical tools and methods that support effective delivery across the improvement lifecycle
Design and facilitate problem-solving workshops that support FBP teams to engage their stakeholders, develop solutions, and progress improvement actions
Provide targeted analysis and compelling presentations to support insight-driven decision-making and improve visibility of progress and impact
What you’ll bring
Proven experience as a business improvement professional, with strong financial acumen and a track record of identifying value opportunities and delivering results across the end-to-end improvement lifecycle — from opportunity identification, valuation, implementation and value realisation
Expertise in structured problem solving and project delivery, including coaching others in these approaches
Strong facilitation skills, with experience designing and leading workshops that deliver clear outcomes and support stakeholder alignment
Demonstrated ability to support behavioural and process change through effective communication and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across multiple levels.
High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
A relevant qualification in finance, engineering or a related field; experience in mining or heavy industry is highly desirable

This is a Perth based role working out of our Central Park CBD office building with flexible working arrangements on offer.
