We are looking for a Senior Advisor People Data Governance to assist the Principal Advisor, Data Governance in their overall responsibility for People data policies and processes including data quality, governance, compliance, ethics, security and privacy.

Reporting to the Principal Advisor, People Data Governance and working in a collaborative community within People Data & Insights division, you will be:
- Assist in the implementation of People Data Governance in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactively champion the value of data as a strategic business asset
- Support in the development and implementation of data and analytics governance including data policies, standards, catalogue, and definitions
- Assist in communication, advocacy and compliance activities for data quality and governance standards
- Assist in configuring and aligning data governance tools for use in HR
- Assist with training and user support for data governance tools and advocate for the use of these tools
- Engage with HR data stewards and internal partners to help drive data governance outcomes
- Actively promote participation and buy-in from across the People function and organisational people leaders for data governance activities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of data governance principles, practices, and frameworks
- Familiarise yourself with data privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and other emerging regulations

- Exceptional presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills with demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong data and analytics capability with experience in data governance
- Good organisational skills to identify most important activities to achieve outcomes
- Ability to be pedantic about standards and policies whilst being flexible and adaptive to company needs
- Understanding of data governance principles, data quality, metadata management, and data lineage
- Some understanding of compliance and privacy laws related to data
- Understanding of techniques for data profiling, cleansing, and validation
- Ability to develop analytical abilities to assess data usage, identify patterns, and derive insights
- Understanding of data architecture, databases, and storage solutions
