Senior Commercial Analyst

Macmahon is currently seeking a commercially astute Senior Commercial Analyst to join our team at Tropicana. This site-facing role plays a critical part in supporting operational leadership with strategic financial insight, cost optimisation, and commercial decision support.

About the Role

• Support the Commercial Superintendent in compiling accurate monthly reports and review documentation.
• Prepare monthly contract claims in line with compliance requirements and industry best practice.
• Take ownership of Rise and Fall tracking, preparation, and application within monthly claims.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of end-of-month processes and ad-hoc reporting tools.
• Assist in the review of all contract documentation to ensure accuracy prior to acceptance and execution.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• A tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, or a related discipline
• At least 3 years’ experience in a commercial or finance role within the mining sector
• Strong ability to interpret and apply contractual terms and conditions
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles, with a focus on operational cost control and reporting
