About the role
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Planner to join the DSL Port Hedland team. This is a broad role requiring demonstrated leadership skills, stakeholder management skills, coaching skills, and a sound technical knowledge in the work management process across planning and scheduling.
Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, this leadership role will lead a small team of planners/schedulers to successfully execute process in accordance with the work management processes and the planner and/or scheduler work of the role to achieve optimal maintenance of Fixed Plant, Mobile, Structural Integrity & Non-Production Infrastructure assets on site.
Key Accountabilities
Efficient and accurate development of plans and schedules in accordance with industry standard
Regular planning and scheduling meetings and pre and post plan reviews
Maintenance activity review
Cost / budget management
Weekly reviews and monthly forecasting
Monitor, audit and review site compliance to CRI metrics
Compliance with OEM procedures and AMG Asset Management Framework and maintenance principles
Provide and support input for asset cost forecasting, monitoring and reporting
Manage the day-to-day functions of the Planning Team to meet set targets and goals

Understand & work with Long Term Planners in Zero Based Budget development.
Ability to effectively influence, collaborate and negotiate.
Current Australian C Class Driver’s License.
