Reporting to the Senior Signals Engineer, you will:
Perform internal audits and governance to ensure the Signals & Systems team meet maintenance obligations and follow best practice
Identify and escalate non-conformances to relevant acts/legislations and standards
Be a point of escalation for signalling and systems failures where support to the Network Response team is required
Assist with the development and implementation of improvement projects and propose improvements to maintenance processes
Conduct reviews of and develop maintenance documentation that ensures primary maintenance tactics and safe work procedures are aligned with industry best practice and manufacturers specifications
Utilise SAP to ensure that completed maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant maintenance tactic
Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all RTIO Company Policies and procedures
What you’ll bringTo succeed in this role, you will have:
Experience with maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs to signalling, systems and communications equipment.
Practical experience with route relay interlocking, computer based interlockings and level crossing predictors
Sound understanding and working knowledge of Signalling principles
Ability to work cooperatively in a small team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptation to business requirements
Strong problem solving skills and ability to think rationally in a fast-pace environment
Proficient with computer systems and typical software applications
Current electrical license
SAP Experience

Where you’ll be working
Tom Price is located in the central Pilbara, west of Karijini National Park and is our original Pilbara mine, currently employing residential and fly in fly out employees. It is known as one of the most attractive towns in the Pilbara with a high school, two primary schools a hospital and a high standard of recreational facilities.
