About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced team player to join our Engineering team as a Specialist Asset Integrated Management Systems.
Reporting to the Superintendent Asset IMS, you will play a key role in supporting the Asset IMS team to drive continuous improvements to our certified management system through clear communication and measurable outcomes. The role would suit a person with outstanding communication skills together with working knowledge of ISO or a person who actively works with systems. The role requires an understanding of IMS technical knowledge and the ability to translate this into effective and fit for purpose practices.
This role is based in Adelaide on a Monday-Friday basis (with occasional site travel required).
In this role your responsibilities will be:
- Provide technical expertise in the operation of the IMS across different operational areas.
- Support the IMS team to maintain current ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 certifications.
- Conduct system monitoring, maintenance, and optimisation to identify system improvements and seek to make a difference to the IMS.
- Support the team in the execution of implementation of the IMS.
About You
- A strong contributing team member, with initiative to provide support where required within the team.
- A passion for process improvement and problem solving together with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in identifying and embedding best practice in a systematic way.
- Demonstrates strong technical expertise while fostering a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive team culture.
- Experience within either Engineering, Training, Safety or Environment and or IMS processes and systems.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate with various IMS stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a well-organised, proactive approach to work, with a strong ability to multitask and prioritise a variety of complex tasks and competing priorities.
- Experience in internal audit and participating in external audits is advantageous.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
- Monitor and improve systems and processes, ensuring technical accuracy.
- Provide coaching and guidance on the IMS.
- Proficient in database systems with a keen eye for process automation and reporting improvements.
- Internal Audit Qualification or equivalent exposure and experience.
- Formal qualification in Safety or similar.
