About the Role

We are seeking a Supervisor – Core Processing to lead and coordinate a core processing team in a dynamic operational environment. This role is critical to ensuring samples are processed safely, accurately, and efficiently to support high-quality geological outcomes.

You will be a hands-on leader with a strong operational focus, exceptional attention to detail, and a practical, mechanically minded approach. This position suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and leading teams to consistently deliver quality results.

This role is based at Olympic Dam on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster.  You can elect to FIFO from Adelaide, DIDO from Regional SA or reside residentially in Roxby Downs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and site standards
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Core Processing team to achieve daily production and quality targets
  • Ensure core processing activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with procedures
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality control, data integrity, and attention to detail
  • Identify operational issues and apply a proactive, problem-solving mindset to resolve them
  • Coordinate equipment use, routine maintenance, and minor mechanical troubleshooting
  • Monitor performance, manage workloads, and support capability development within the team
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and operational efficiency

About You

You will bring proven supervisory experience in an operational or processing environment, ideally within mining, exploration, laboratories, factories, or similar settings.

You will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading operational teams
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality outcomes
  • A practical, mechanically minded aptitude and confidence working with equipment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to undertake manual activities in an outdoor environment
