About the Role
The x2 technician field roles responsibilities will include collecting drilling samples across mine sites and future mining areas, despatch to site or Perth laboratories to deliver the requirement of our internal customers. These roles also needs to assist our other team members with escorting them in mining areas to help them complete their work.
Duties will include:
- Personal Risk Assessments and Field leadership.
- Blast cone sampling : Manually taking samples and ensuring delivery to onsite laboratory. Sample bag write up and data entry.
- RC sampling including sample bag collection and dispatch.
- Diamond Core Meter marking, Photography and dispatch.
- In Pit driving including escorting.
- Creation or setup of water access, laydown, caravan, generators, fuel tanks, Ablution blocks or other mobile facilities.
- Assisting in surveys (including heritage pegging / environmental)
- Utilizing basic computer skills with the chance to upskill
About You
Requirements to be considered:
- 1 year experience in Mining or similar roles
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Current driver's license
