ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Permanent position on a 4-day week, 10hr day roster.Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night. 

Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.

You will be responsible for safely executing maintenance activities across fixed plant assets, ensuring equipment reliability, plant availability and operational performance while meeting maintenance schedules and work requirements.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Complete planned and corrective maintenance activities to a high quality standard, breakdown activities additional where required.
• Contribute to fault finding, root cause investigations and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement through effective planning input, procedure reviews and materials management processes.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:  

• Experience within a maintenance environment supporting fixed plant, processing, manufacturing or resource sector operations.
• Inspecting, maintaining, repairing or fabricating equipment and components to support operational reliability.
• Applying strong safety practices and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Working collaboratively with maintenance, operations and contractor teams to achieve shared outcomes.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and identifying practical, effective solutions.
• Managing competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

Qualifications for this position are:  

• Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter or Fabricator/Boilermaker trade qualification.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.
• Boilermakers - Ability to pass 6G pipe and plate weld tests.

  Desirable:

• Exposure to SAP maintenance systems.
• HR Driver's Licence.

• High Risk Work licences including Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, Dogman and Basic Rigging

• Experience working at heights and in confined spaces..
