About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced Service Crew Trainer to join our team at Sunrise Dam. This site-based role is critical to developing, mentoring and upskilling our underground operators to ensure safe and efficient service crew operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training and coaching for Service Crew operators.
• Ensure compliance with all site safety standards, training procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with site leadership to align training plans with operational needs.
• Review and update training materials for accuracy and relevance.
• Monitor and report on individual operator progress at the end of each swing.
• Plan and conduct training in alignment with matrix reviews and development plans.
• Support daily task planning alongside the Leading Hand Service Crew.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in training roles within the mining industry.
• Strong underground mining background with hands-on equipment operating experience.
• Proven ability to mentor and train new-to-industry operators with a safety-first approach.
• Knowledge of Mining Safety Legislation, Acts, Regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the business.
• Ability to adapt training methods to support diverse learners.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly desirable).
• Ability to meet all site access requirements, including NPC and valid work rights.
