About you:
As a Ventilation Coordinator, for your application to stand out you will be a resilient and hands-on leader who thrives in a challenging underground environment. You will be comfortable balancing operational priorities, supporting your crews and maintaining strong working relationships with both site personnel and clients. You will have a strong work ethic, a practical leadership style and the ability to keep your team focused on achieving safe and productive outcomes.
Minimum skills and experience required are:
- Demonstrated Underground Coal Ventilation experience is essential, this is not an entry-level position;
- Proven experience in a Coordinator level role in a similar underground coal environment;
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders;
- Demonstrated experience leading crews, coaching, mentoring and setting positive examples;
- Ability to complete, analyse and deliver reports within agreed timeframes;
- Ability to effectively manage priorities, coordinate multiple work fronts and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced operational environment;
- Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills;
- Supervisory certification G1, G8, G9 and G2;
- Chemical application / pumping experience highly desirable;
- Underground Standard 11;
- Current QLD Coal Health Assessment;
- Valid Driver's Licence;
- Signed copies of training transcripts and/or authorisations.
